GPT appoints new Head of Office

The GPT Group (GPT) today announced the appointment of Matthew Brown as its Head of Office and Executive Team member.

Matthew Brown is an experienced real estate executive with deep domestic and international expertise in the Office sector. Matthew will join GPT from ISPT where he is currently a Group Executive, Head of Funds Management. Prior to ISPT, Matthew held leadership roles at Charter Hall and GIC. Matthew will commence with GPT in the new year.

Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Russell Proutt said: “I am pleased Matthew will be joining us as GPT’s Head of Office. Matthew’s leadership, experience and focus on growing sectors and investment performance will be highly valued.”

Martin Ritchie will be leaving GPT after 23 years. Martin has held a number of roles at GPT including leading the Office team and as Fund Manager for GPT’s Wholesale Office Fund (GWOF). Russell Proutt said: “I would like to thank Martin for his contributions to the Office team, GWOF and the broader GPT organisation. I wish him all the best for the future.”
