The GPT Group’s flexible workplace business Space&Co. has opened its fourth space at the premium 530 Collins Street building in Melbourne.

Designed to cater for the strong demand for flexible and shared workspace from start-ups, professionals and GPT’s existing tenants, the new Space&Co. venue features a café, secure access, 40 fixed and 12 flexible desks, four team rooms, ergonomic chairs and work desks, two boardrooms, one meeting room and two quiet rooms.

Guests at the space will have access to the GPT-managed 530 Collins Street’s state-of-the-art End of Trip facilities which include bicycle storage, showers, lockers and a complimentary towel service.

It is the second Space&Co. venue to open in Melbourne’s CBD.

“We are confident the new venue at 530 Collins Street will prove just as successful as Space&Co. in GPT’s Melbourne Central Tower which opened in May last year,” said GPT Group’s Head of Office & Logistics Matthew Faddy.

“Since launching Space&Co. in Melbourne Central more than 18 months ago we have seen strong demand from individuals and also existing office tenants in the building needing temporary desk space. We expect the same to occur at 530 Collins Street,” said Mr Faddy.

Space&Co was the first co-working business to be launched by an Australian Real Estate Investment Trust. Apart from its two Melbourne venues, Space&Co. has established offices at GPT’s Rouse Hill Town Centre in Sydney and ONE ONE ONE Eagle Street in Brisbane.
